Its bright 1.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen displays distances to the front, middle and back of the green, plus hazard and layup information across more than 43,000 preloaded courses. This makes it easier to check yardages during your pre-shot routine without reaching for a separate handheld GPS.
The watch also offers PlaysLike Distance to account for elevation changes and includes everyday wellness and activity features, including wrist-based heart rate, stress tracking and Body Battery monitoring. Garmin states up to 15 hours of battery life in GPS mode. A Garmin Golf membership unlocks enhanced CourseView maps, green contour data and touch targeting. Membership is required for those enhanced mapping functions; the watch still includes preloaded course maps and core distance features.
