The hollow construction is designed to support faster ball speeds, and 26 grams of tungsten positioned low in the head helps promote a higher launch than a conventional long iron. An offset face weld allows a thinner topline and more face flex on lower strikes. Mizuno has also increased the bounce angle by one degree to improve turf interaction, which can help the leading edge move through the ground more smoothly.
The Fli-Hi is available in 2, 3 and 4 iron configurations, with left-handed heads offered across the range; the 4 iron is a custom-order option for left-handed golfers.
