The Ai-DUAL insert pairs a soft urethane outer layer with a firmer inner layer to deliver consistent ball speed across the face and improved forward roll. Odyssey’s deeper Forward Roll Design groove uses a 19° slope to work with the dual-layer insert. Together, these technologies aim to provide a controlled response when contact varies slightly across the face and a reliable feel for pace on the green.
A modern centre-shafted layout positions the shaft below the head’s centre-of-gravity plane, creating 90° up toe balance. The design includes 2° of forward shaft lean and a reverse-taper grip intended to make that hand position comfortable. This left-handed version uses the standard black SL 120 stepless steel shaft. Its 360 g mallet head has 3° loft and 72° lie, with manufacturer standard lengths of 33, 34 and 35 inches.
