Mizuno Pro M-13 Golf Irons

The Mizuno Pro M-13 succeeds the Pro 243 with a carefully graduated construction that blends higher speed in the longer irons with precise feel in the scoring clubs. Its compact head shape and thin, graduated topline create a consistent look through the set. In the 4- and 5-irons, a Pocket Cavity Grain Flow Forged construction combines Chromoly 4120 and 431 stainless steel. Mizuno’s 1.37mm Contour Ellipse Face is designed to increase ball speed while preserving the responsive feel expected from a forged iron.

The 6–8 irons use a Micro-Slot Grain Flow Forged design with a face 0.3mm thinner than the previous generation, supporting controlled speed through the mid irons. From 9-iron to gap wedge, a one-piece 1025 Elite forging shifts the emphasis towards precision, trajectory control and feel. A Triple Cut Sole helps the head interact consistently with varied lies, while Harmonic Impact Technology, a copper underlay and a cavity badge tune the impact sound and vibration. The satin-brush finish also helps reduce glare at address.

This set suits players looking for a forged Mizuno profile with distinct performance roles across the bag. Clarkes offers choices for set makeup, shaft, flex, lie and length, including both right- and left-handed configurations. Use the matrix below to compare the standard club specifications, then confirm the exact set and custom build options with the retailer.

Manufacturer notice

Mizuno reported in June 2026 that a limited number of M-13 6-, 7- and 8-irons may develop face dents or deformation through normal use. The issue does not affect every club and Mizuno says it presents no safety concern. Inspect affected irons; if deformation is confirmed, contact the retailer for warranty support. The 4-iron, 5-iron, 9-iron, pitching wedge and gap wedge are not affected.

The Bold Golfer FAQs

Got questions? We’ve got answers! If you do not find your answer here, please use the contact page to let us know.

What makes The Bold Golfer different from a traditional online pro shop?

Unlike standard retail outlets, we do not stock physical inventory, manage transactions, or ship orders. We operate as an independent golf publication and globally aggregated product catalog, sourcing real-time deals from trusted manufacturers and merchants worldwide to simplify your golfing gear research.

How do your country-specific live pricing buttons work?

We partner with premium golf merchants across different continents. When browsing a product, simply click the button matching your region (e.g., USA, UK, AUS, or EU) to be directed instantly to an authorised local retailer with current stock and localised pricing.

Do I pay any extra fees or hidden premiums by using your outbound links?

No. Every outbound link on our site redirects you directly to the official merchant's checkout at zero extra cost to you. Our platform is fully supported through tracking commissions paid to us by our retail partners when you complete a qualifying purchase.

Who should I contact if I have an issue with an order or a delivery delay?

Because all sales are finalised directly on our partner merchants' secure websites, any questions regarding order processing, shipping, tracking numbers, or returns should be handled directly with the specific retailer you purchased from.

Are the products featured on your site brand new or pre-owned?

Our automated product feeds primarily highlight brand-new, current-generation golf equipment from major manufacturers. However, when we link to specialised premium clearance warehouses, any pre-owned or refurbished status will be clearly indicated on the partner site.

How do you choose which golf brands and products to feature on your website?

We select brands based entirely on manufacturing compliance, tournament-tested reputation, and user feedback. From industry titans like TaylorMade and Callaway to elite direct-to-consumer simulator labels, we aim to cover the full spectrum of high-performance gear.

How often is the product data and retail stock updated?

We utilise dynamic product data feeds that sync regularly with our global affiliate networks to ensure that our configurations, manufacturer names, and global retail channels remain accurate for our community of golfers.
