A redesigned curved muscle moves mass lower in the head, while progressive offset, a wider sole and a deeper centre of gravity support easier launch, stability and forgiveness.
The S-4’s progressive geometry changes through the set to balance control in the shorter irons with confidence in the longer clubs. Mizuno lists the 3-iron through pitching wedge in its standard specification, with both right- and left-handed options from 3-PW. The standard loft progression runs from 21 degrees in the 3-iron to 46 degrees in the pitching wedge.
