Odyssey Ai-Dual Golf Putter | #7 1/2 Ball
The Odyssey Ai-DUAL #7 ½ Ball S is an angular mallet putter designed for golfers who prefer a distinct head shape and a stroke with noticeable face rotation. Its compact #7 profile gives the eye clear edges to work with at address, while the ½ Ball alignment graphic provides a central reference around the ball. Together, they help make setup more deliberate on short putts and longer first putts alike.
Odyssey’s Ai-DUAL insert uses a soft urethane outer layer over a firmer inner layer to promote consistent ball speed across the face and improved forward roll. The deeper Forward Roll Design groove, with a 19° slope, works with that insert to help the ball begin rolling smoothly. The aim is a dependable response on centre strikes and useful consistency when impact is a little high or low.
The ‘S’ model uses a short slant hosel and has 35° of toe hang. Compared with a face-balanced putter, this encourages more face rotation through the stroke and is better suited to golfers with an arcing motion. The mallet head weighs 360 g and is paired with a standard-flex SL 90 stepless steel shaft. Odyssey lists a 3° loft, 70° lie and standard lengths of 33, 34 and 35 inches. A Pistol grip completes the setup shown by the manufacturer.
Use the alignment lines and half-ball framing as a repeatable pre-shot checkpoint, then let the stroke’s natural arc guide the face. The #7 S is a considered choice for players who like a mallet’s visual presence but want toe hang to complement their release. Length and hand options can differ by retailer; confirm the selected configuration and grip before ordering. Headcover included.

The Bold Golfer FAQs
Got questions? We’ve got answers! If you do not find your answer here, please use the contact page to let us know.
What makes The Bold Golfer different from a traditional online pro shop?
Unlike standard retail outlets, we do not stock physical inventory, manage transactions, or ship orders. We operate as an independent golf publication and globally aggregated product catalog, sourcing real-time deals from trusted manufacturers and merchants worldwide to simplify your golfing gear research.
How do your country-specific live pricing buttons work?
We partner with premium golf merchants across different continents. When browsing a product, simply click the button matching your region (e.g., USA, UK, AUS, or EU) to be directed instantly to an authorised local retailer with current stock and localised pricing.
Do I pay any extra fees or hidden premiums by using your outbound links?
No. Every outbound link on our site redirects you directly to the official merchant's checkout at zero extra cost to you. Our platform is fully supported through tracking commissions paid to us by our retail partners when you complete a qualifying purchase.
Who should I contact if I have an issue with an order or a delivery delay?
Because all sales are finalised directly on our partner merchants' secure websites, any questions regarding order processing, shipping, tracking numbers, or returns should be handled directly with the specific retailer you purchased from.
Are the products featured on your site brand new or pre-owned?
Our automated product feeds primarily highlight brand-new, current-generation golf equipment from major manufacturers. However, when we link to specialised premium clearance warehouses, any pre-owned or refurbished status will be clearly indicated on the partner site.
How do you choose which golf brands and products to feature on your website?
We select brands based entirely on manufacturing compliance, tournament-tested reputation, and user feedback. From industry titans like TaylorMade and Callaway to elite direct-to-consumer simulator labels, we aim to cover the full spectrum of high-performance gear.
How often is the product data and retail stock updated?
We utilise dynamic product data feeds that sync regularly with our global affiliate networks to ensure that our configurations, manufacturer names, and global retail channels remain accurate for our community of golfers.
