Choose a compact wingback mallet with Scotty Cameron’s low-torque Onset-Center design in the limited Phantom 5 OC Spec III. Its straight shaft is set in line with the head’s centre of gravity and positioned behind the leading edge, helping reduce face rotation and support a square-to-the-path stroke. The compact head shape suits golfers who want mallet alignment and stability in a smaller footprint behind the ball.
The 5 OC Spec III is finished in all-black PVD to reduce glare, with three high-contrast sightlines that frame the ball at address. A Studio Carbon Steel full-face insert uses chain-link milling to soften sound while retaining feedback. The head combines a 303 stainless steel face and body with a 6061 aircraft aluminium sole and flange. A custom black KBS steel shaft and mid-size Black Matador grip complete the build, with a subtle one-degree forward lean.
Scotty Cameron lists right-handed configurations in 33-, 34- and 35-inch lengths. The included sole weights change with length, letting the build remain balanced: 2 × 20 g at 33 inches, 2 × 15 g at 34 inches and 2 × 10 g at 35 inches. A limited-edition headcover is included.
