Its removable hitting section lets you change the playing surface, making the setup more adaptable than a fixed-turf mat. The compact 1.5m by 1.2m footprint is suited to simulator bays, garages and indoor spaces where floor area is limited.
The mat includes a standard turf insert for fairway-style shots and a tee turf insert for tee practice. SimSpace describes the switchable area as compatible with additional lie options, including rough or a separately available bunker insert. Six perforated tee positions, arranged for left- and right-handed players, make the mat practical for shared practice spaces. Rubber and plastic tees are included with the standard package.
Both the turf section and support base contribute to a total thickness of 29mm: 17mm of turf above a 12mm base. The interchangeable design can help extend the useful life of the mat by allowing the strike area to be replaced or changed, rather than replacing the full platform.
